A Gentle Introduction to NIH Grantwriting for Population Scientists
This 1-hour Zoom session, unlike most NIH-style boot camps, focuses on grant writing specifically for population scientists who overwhelmingly submit to the Population Dynamics Branch study sections. CPIP co-director Tim Bruckner provides specific "how-to's", resources available to you, and tips on how to navigate--and understand-- several NIH websites. In addition, Greg Duncan and Candice Odgers, two experienced reviewers of NIH grants, follow with a Q&A session about what reviewers look for in successful grants.
